RE:WORK is a co-working café with  local communities at heart and a heart for the the planet

Meet the founders

RE:WORK was founded by Gilles and Déborah, two entrepreneurs passionate about human connections and sustainability. Together, they set out to create a space that didn’t yet exist in Jette, and in the northern part of Brussels in general. RE:WORK was born from their desire to make things work differently.

Gilles Garemynck

Community builder and operations manager

Gilles is a true sports enthusiast who thrives on pushing his limits. Meticulous and detail-oriented, he always gives his best—living by the motto: “Do your best, or don’t do it at all.” With nearly 20 years in sales, Gilles could sell ice to an Eskimo if he had to. But what he valued most wasn’t the deals—it was the genuine, authentic connections he built along the way. When the opportunity for this bold, slightly crazy venture arose, Gilles embraced it wholeheartedly - fueling its momentum and transforming it into a daring (and demanding) entrepreneurial adventure

Déborah De Klerck

Community builder and communication manager

As true vintage enthusiast, Déborah loves thrifting and hunting for treasures at flea markets—drawn to the surprises and stories hidden in every find. Throughout her career, she’s always sought deeper meaning in her work. This co-working project is the perfect fusion of her passions: fostering human connections, curating sustainable furniture and décor, and, of course, bringing stories to life through communication and PR.
